Move Outcome (BETA)

Manage a move's outcome through this new feature on the move details page.

  • "Manage Move Outcome" is a new option from the gear menu in the top right of the move details page.
  • From now on, if a move has been canceled, involved in an accident, or broken down, use this feature to report it.
  • The move outcome handles the following accessorials along with canceling the move: Partial, Roadside, Tow, Ride & Delay.
  • If you run into any issues with using this new system, please report it to the tech team and fallback to using the old cancellation and accessorials system while we work on a fix.
  • If an accessorial is incorrect, you can always submit the outcome and edit the accessorial manually through the "Manage Accessorials" action.

Move Settled

Added a new flag on the move record to mark a move as "settled", meaning after 7 days, it can no longer be edited.

  • This will help prevent inconsistencies between the move and invoice items.
  • Actions that directly affect the move record will no longer be available when a move is settled.

Moves Table Improvements

A bunch of performance and UI fixes were applied to the moves table, along with a new generate BOLs feature.

  • Greatly enhanced performance with a larger range of moves.
  • Selection system that allows you to select only the moves you want to download in a CSV or BOL.
  • New generate BOLs action in the gear menu that allows the user to download a PDF of move details for every selected move (up to 100 moves at a time).
  • Search filter now hooks directly into the query and allows you to search for makes and models (press "Enter/Return" to search).
  • Removal of Add Moves button (All moves should be added via Dealer)
  • General UI improvements.

Super Dispatch Integration

We have released an integration with the Super Dispatch API, which will allow Customers to create moves in our system by creating loads in Super Dispatch that we can accept.

  • Loads can be created and assigned to HopDrive to create equivalent moves in our system.
  • These moves will be updated in Super Dispatch when their Pickup and Delivery steps are completed.
  • Expenses will also be added to Loads in Super Dispatch so that the match the amount charged for the move in our system.

Backup move workflow in driver portal

We made a few enhancements to driver portal login as well as added the ability to work a move in driver portal. There are a few caveats to know. This isn't as a replacement to Social Auto Transport app or Driver App 2.0. This is meant as a backup in the event of a driver app outage.

When a driver logs in to their portal they will now be able to:

  • Chose the Moves menu
  • See the moves that have been assigned to them
  • Click on a move to see the move details
  • Ability to accept/decline a move
  • Ability to work a move based on its current status

General Enhancements/Bugfixes

  • The region dropdown on the plans page will now remember which region you had selected before.
  • Lane/Location gear menu on move details will now send to the Lane/Location Details page instead of the map view.
  • Fixed the order and inconsistent naming of actions on move details.
  • Fixed several potential slowdowns and crashes on move details.
  • Locations created in Dealer-API or Admin Portal will contain address subfields (address_line_one, city, zip_code, etc)
