HopDrive Lite

Version 1 of our SaaS solution has been soft-launched into production. In order to use the new functionality, an existing or new customer will need to be set to the HopDrive Lite tier in the customer details page or on customer creation.

Admin Portal

On the admin side, we have a few changes around customer creation and customer settings.

Tier selection on customer creation, overview & settings (you cant miss it)
Customer Service Radius added to customer settings to use in place of regions for each specific HopDrive Lite customer
Fraud Detection settings around location
Minor bug fixes in customer/org settings

Portal

For portal, we added new functionality for our lite tier customers. For normal customers, portal should feel unchanged (besides the new moves dashboard).

Lite-tier Portal users can now create & edit their own drivers through a new driver management system
Drivers can be assigned/unassigned/reassigned to moves that are created by a lite customer through the dashboard move tile or move details
New moves dashboard that replaces the previous moves index page

App

For the app, drivers for HopDrive Lite customers will see a slightly different version of the app. Lite drivers will:

Driver Recruitment Pipeline

We've introduced a new driver recruitment management system, housed in our forthcoming upgraded admin site. In this system, driver records will be created automatically when they submit an application through the mobile app. You can then assign talent coordinators, view their applications, and move them through the pipeline via admin.

Driver App

A full intake form has been added to the registration forms, accessible through the login screen in the driver app.
- Note: These changes will be live soon, pending the app-store review process.
When a prospective driver submits their application, a driver record will automatically be created for them, and they will be able to immediately set their password and log into the app to view their recruitment status
Onboarding drivers will also be able to access their onboarding link from inside the app
When they reach the training stage, they will automatically receive full access to all of the app's features

Admin v5 Improvements

We've made a number of improvements to v5 of our admin portal. You can access it at admin5.hopdrive.io with your usual admin credentals.

Timeline

The Timeline Feature lets you see all driver schedules in one place. You can create different views to organize drivers however you want - just drag and drop to reorder them, pick which drivers to show, and name each view for easy access.

Each driver gets their own row showing their day's assignments as colored blocks on a timeline. You can zoom in to see 15-minute details or zoom out to see several hours at once. A compact view option lets you fit more drivers on your screen.

Everything updates automatically as changes happen throughout the day. You can scroll through multiple days of schedules, and easily switch between your saved views to see different driver groups or arrangements.

Unassigned Moves

The Unassigned Moves page has been redesigned to provide a more comprehensive view of the moves that are not assigned to any driver. From this page, you can quickly identify moves at risk of being late, and select multiple moves to assign to a driver. Once selected, you can assign them to a driver by jumping into the driver schedule screen in Admin v4 without needing to navigate the Admin v4 timeline and unassigned moves modal.

Hangtag Management

Track and manage all your vehicle hangtags from one simple dashboard. See which tags are in use, how many vehicles are staged versus other statuses, and who has each tag. When someone scans a tag's QR code, the system automatically updates the vehicle's status and location. The dashboard shows you tag counts, current assignments, and helps you quickly find any tag by its number or status.
