Driver Certifications

Our current system for tracking driver qualifications (manual trained, concierge trained, etc.) is being migrated to a new and more complete system. In this new system, you can:

• Create new certifications as needed (e.g. if a particular location or customer has specific requirements)
• Link those certifications to the organizations, customers, or locations that require them
• Grant the certification to drivers who meet the requirements

In the near future, this new system will replace the current list of "driver attributes". Then, certifications will be used to automatically determine which drivers are eligible to perform moves while you're in the planning process. For now, the current "driver attributes" list is still in place, so this is a good opportunity to ensure that old driver attributes are migrated to the new system before it goes into effect.

Driver Profile/Onboarding

Admin/Driver Portal

• In the admin portal, we have introduced a new field that allows the driver (or admin) to update their display name. This is what they would like to be called and is viewable by HopDrive and all its customers. Be sure to double check this name is appropriate before finalizing onboarding.

• SSN is now required for all drivers for tax purposes. EIN is still optional, but requires an employer name when filled in.

• Home location and Mailing location now use the same location finder as the move planner does. The reason is because we now do a Google lookup of these locations so we can now properly store public details about this location in our database. Plus, this gives us the ability to repurpose our business hours code to be used for driver scheduling.

Driver Schedule

DISCLAIMER: The driver app portion of the schedule is coming at a later date. The tools in this release wont need to be used until the driver app portion is released.

Admin Portal

• Driver's schedules can be set through admin portal from the driver details screen. THIS IS A BACKUP. We encourage all drivers to set their own schedule through the driver app whenever possible.

• The driver's starting point can also be set through admin as a backup. Simply click on the map and set the point in which the driver will start their day from.
